SPRINT CANOE KAYAK
The Rideau Canoe Club (RCC) offers Sprint Canoe Kayak programs to members aged 9 and up. These programs provide instruction and training for beginners and experienced paddlers alike in the Olympic sport of canoe and kayak. The club's Special Olympics and Para Canoe programs are available for intellectually and physically disabled paddlers. RCC's master's programs suit adults new to the sport, returning to the sport and those that have been long-time paddlers.
Club membership is required to participate in sprint canoe kayak programs (with the exception of Intro to Sprint). Membership covers a full year from the date of registration. LEARN MORE about membership. All programs are led by RCC coaches that are NCCP, Standard First Aid and CPR certified. All have Pleasure Craft Operation cards and current Criminal Records checks. LEARN MORE about the RCC coaching staff. The RCC is proud to host and attend several regattas throughout the on water season. The only way for a regatta to happen is with the help of our committed volunteers. Part of becoming a member of the RCC and signing up for the sprint program is committing to volunteering as per the RCC Volunteer Policy. Volunteering is a great way to get to know the sport and wonderful people who make it such a special environment. We look forward to seeing you at one of the events! LEARN MORE about volunteering. Questions about volunteering can be directed to the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@rideaucanoeclub.ca. U14 SPRINT PROGRAMS
