THE RIDEAU CANOE CLUB
The Rideau Canoe Club is a non-profit organization serving the community as a sprint canoe kayak club. The club offers many services and programs all of which center around paddling. Whether you want to learn to paddle, paddle for fun or fitness, or train to compete, the club has a program for you. We are proud to wear PURPLE AND WHITE when competing at local, divisional, provincial, national, and international regattas. Our club is one of the top Sprint Canoe Kayak clubs in Canada having won the overall title at the Canadian Championships 12 times, most recently in 2015, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, with the 2023 victory achieved jointly with the Maskwa Aquatic Club.

The Rideau Canoe Club Announces New Head Coach
We are pleased to announce that Mihail Oghina has joined our organization as the new head coach of the Rideau Canoe Club. With over 12 years of coaching experience at the club, national, and international levels, Mihail is dedicated to transforming athletes into powerful, confident competitors. "Canoe-kayak isn't just my profession—it's my passion, my lifestyle, and my playground," says Coach Mihail. We are excited to welcome Coach Mihail back to the RCC and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our athletes, members and the broader RCC community.
