What is a Regatta?
Regattas are where our athletes go head-to-head with each other and paddlers from other clubs. It's all about racing—seeing who's the fastest on the water. Whether it's a friendly sprint or a serious showdown, regattas bring out the competitive spirit in our paddlers as they strive for victory. At the Rideau Canoe Club, regattas are more than just races; they're family gatherings. It's a time when our paddlers come together to compete, yes, but also to support and cheer each other on.
