Masters sprint paddling programs are available to Rideau Canoe Club members aged 25 and up. The club offers these programs for all levels of ability. On-water paddling programs run from May to October, with weights and ergometer paddling programs offered from November to April.
Membership is required before being able to register for adult/masters sprint programs (excludes Adult Introduction sessions).

MASTERS SPRINT SCHEDULE
Masters Introduction
In this program, participants will work simultaneously on developing fitness and technical proficiency. Topics and skills covered will include care for high-performance boats, cockpit/paddle set-up, proper paddling technique, starts, turning, and basic racing strategies. No Membership required.
Each program requires a minimum of 3 participants and is limited to a maximum of 6 participants.

Masters Competitive
The masters competitive program is for paddlers that want to achieve peak performance and are willing to push themselves hard to get there. Workouts are designed to develop speed and anaerobic capacity. Coaches help participants with performance paddling technique, racing strategy and starts.
Each program requires a minimum of 6 participants and is limited to a maximum of 9 participants.
