Itching to work on specific skills or just prefer one-on-one instruction? Always wanted to perfect your J-stroke? If you have a specific goal we can help you achieve it! Book your private or semi-private lesson with one of our fantastic instructors. 

Pricing Details:
  • Private lesson (1 participant) - $54/ hour + HST
  • Semi-private lesson (2 to 4 participants) - $161/hour + HST 
  • Lessons available for canoe, kayak, and stand up paddle board.
  • ​Participants can use their own boats and equipment or those provided by the club.
  • Paddlers must be at least 7 years old and comfortable wearing a life jacket/PFD in water.

Do you have a family or corportate group looking for a special outing or a fun team building event?  Let the Rideau Canoe Club design a group activity for you! 

Pricing Details:
  • Small Group - 5 to 10 participants - $184/hour +HST.
  • Large Group - 11-20 participants - $216/hour + HST.
  • School Group - 5 to 20 participants - $184/hour + HST
  • Rates include the use of canoes, kayaks or SUP boards, PFD's  and equipment.  
  • RCC Instructors - ​1 RCC instructor for every 10 participants. 
  • Paddlers must be at least 7 years old and comfortable wearing a life jacket/PFD in water. 
  • Group Bookings are offered in the Spring (May & June) and the Fall (Sept & Oct).
Additional Group Booking Information:
  • Each participant must pay insurance fee of $5. 
  • A full list of participants and group leaders must be presented to the Rideau Canoe Club before the booking start time in addition to a completed Waiver Form for each participant.
  • Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to booking start time, less a $50 administration fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice can be made for credit only.
  • The Rideau Canoe Club reserves the right to cancel or terminate an activity if the participants’ safety is at risk or weather dictates. In such cases, arrangements will be made to either reschedule the activity or provide refunds, depending on the circumstances.​
