DRAGON BOAT LEAGUE (SUMMER)
Improve your skills & gain valuable racing experience!
The Rideau Canoe Club Dragon Boat League is an opportunity to gain valuable racing experience in the Ottawa region. Every Sunday we run a series of races where dragon boats compete head to head against each other. Teams are re-arranged race to race over the course of each session giving everyone a chance to race with different people.
The first 30 minutes of each session are focused on warm-ups and technique on the water. We will run a minimum of 2 races each session. Teams are formed as people arrive for each session. If you have friends in the program you can all race together in the same boat. We make our best efforts to ensure that all teams are close to the same speed. Remember, this is all about having fun and improving you paddling skills.
The 2020 season will run a total of 10 weeks.
Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 5:45 PM, July 5 to September 30, 2020*

The program fee is $115 + HST (total = $129.95)

Q - Do I need to attend every week?
A - We understand that life is busy and there may be days that you cannot attend. It's not a problem, just come as often as you can.
Q - Can I sign up even if I've never been in a dragon boat?
A - Yes! Pddlers of all skill levels are welcome.
