We will host small groups of 4-5 for a two hour session to enjoy time on the water together. This is a great way to introduce family members to paddling in a fun and recreational setting.
In this course, our highly qualified instructors will guide small groups through the essentials in a supportive and fun learning environment focusing on movement skills, safety, and basic skills.
Inclement Weather
Paddling Programs can still have fun in the rain! However, if there is heavy rain, gusty winds, thunderstorms we can not be on the water. If inclement weather is forecasted on the Weather Network we will cancel the session and will contact you (up to 30 minutes prior). |
Things To Keep In Mind
Participants may use their own boats, paddles, and PFD/lifejackets or those provided by the Club.
The Rideau Canoe Club provides all the necessary paddling equipment though you may bring your own if you wish. Other than that you will need to bring:
