Weight training gets underway at BHS!

After weeks of anticipation, the Rideau Midget/Juvenile (and Bantam) training groups have finally started their INDOOR weight training!  For the next six months, Rideau athletes will be using the weight room at Brookfield High School.  Located just down the road from RCC, Brookfield is the alma matter of several RCC members including Sue Holloway, Bruce Raymond, Ian and Angus Mortimer, Corey Hamilton, Graeme Lind, Chrissy Bourassa and many others.

A big thank you goes out to RCC friend and BHS teacher Rob Laderoute, who pushed hard to make this arrangement work.  With the RCC clubhouse under construction for the remainder of the winter, Rideau athletes have been anxiously awaiting an alternate training location.  The Club looks forward to giving back to Brookfield in the near future and hopes to continue working with the local high school for many years to come.
