RCC Awards Recipients

Last Friday October 7 more than 100 Rideau members gathered at the Brookfield High School cafeteria for the Annual RCC Banquet. Ian Mortimer, a Rideau member for 20 years, was the MC presenting the awards. And the recipients are... (drum roll)
  • Bantam - Best Team Boat: Peewee Mixed War Canoe
  • Bantam - Most Dedicated Female: Naomi VanWalraven
  • Bantam - Most Dedicated Male: Isaac Finkelstein
  • Bantam - Most Improved: Diana Carranco
  • Midget - Best Team Boat: K2 1000m: Kate Braddon & Madeline Schmidt
  • Midget and up - Most Improved: Madeline Schmidt
  • Midget and up - Best Team Boat: Junior Men C4 1000m: Ben Tardioli, Cameron Marcus, Ian Mortimer, Ian Acelvari
  • Spirit - Ian Acelvari
  • Never Say Die - Kate Braddon
  • Outstanding Performance - Madeline Schmidt
  • Volunteer of the Year - Grant Hutter
