Looking for a dynamic RCC Club Administrator

The Rideau Canoe Club is currently looking for a dynamic person to join our team as the RCC Club Administrator.  This person will be the face of the Rideau Canoe Club as they manage the day to day operations of the club in support of the club's board of directors and membership.

Core Responsibilities and Priorities
  • Registrations: providing information, receiving and recording both online and in person registrations
  • Equipment: facilitate and coordinate necessary inventories, repairs and storage
  • Regatta/Event Support: support RCC Hosted events with organizing committees, assist with administration of regattas and events
  • Volunteers: assist with coordination of volunteers at the club
  • Communications: in all aspects from  answering club phone, email, newsletter updates and website management
  • Other administrative duties consistent with the job and it's duties

  • Knowledge of Canadian Canoe/Kayak sport is an asset
  • 3 years experience managing a not-for-profit sports organization
  • Sports Administration or Business Management Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency is the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), Internet programs (Google docs, mailchimp etc)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and ability to maintain positive relationships with others both internally and externally.
Terms and Salary
  • 37.5 hours a week.  Must be able to work some weekends.
  • Salary is dependent on qualifications.
