 Capital to Capitol by Canoe 2012 In September and October 2012, a group of people paddled in a Voyageur canoe 1800 km from Ottawa to Washington D.C. to advocate for clean and healthy river systems. Along the way there were many adventures. The participants included four members of the RCC family: Max Finkelstein, Isaac Finkelstein, Connie Downes and Liz Elton Max, Isaac, Connie, and Liz are doing an amusing and educational little presentation about the canoe trip from Ottawa to Washington on Saturday, November 24th at the RCC, 7 to 8 pm, doors open at 6:30 for mingling and desserts. You are invited to learn more about the trip, its very important purpose, what we learned, and meet many of the participants.
