Canoe Niagara 2013 Seeking Volunteers for World Championships

Canoe Niagara 2013, the ICF Junior and Under 23 Canoe Sprint World Championships, is very pleased to announce that registration is now open for volunteers!

 

Volunteers are needed in a variety of positions to support and help deliver a World Class event that will be the pride of the Canadian canoeing community, the City of Welland and the Niagara Region. Canoe Niagara will utilize some 250 volunteers, giving them a chance to rub elbows with Olympians/Future Olympians, Hall of Famers, and Team Canada during the seven day Championships.

 

All interested individuals are invited to apply to be a volunteer with Canoe Niagara at www.canoeniagara.caLook over the roles and descriptions and see what you might be able to do!! You don't have to know how to paddle, we have a number of exciting posts to fill, all important to the success of Canoe Niagara 2013 and the rewards are pretty great too!! 

Volunteer applications will be accepted via online registration only and as of February 1, 2013, the portal is now open.

To be considered for a volunteer position, please complete and submit your application no later than May 1, 2013.
