Today we had the 1000 and 500m semifinals. It was so exciting! If you follow my twitter updates you'll now by now who made it to the A Finals and who didn't. I send the updates as soon as things happen! You can also check the full results by event following this link.

Angus and Rhys made the B Final on their K4 1000m. Ian made the A Final in an extremely exciting semifinal race. Ciongratulations to the three of them and their partners!

The two most exciting races were the K1 500m men semifinal in which Adam van Koeverden and Ken Wallace raced head to head. The German Rauhe was first (1:43.770) and Adam and Ken came too close to call who was second. Their times were 1:44.089 and 1:44.177 respectively, 0.088 of a second between them!

Not long after that Gab and Andrew needed to be top 3 to qualify for the final. Everything was so close that people were looking to the electronic board waiting for the results... RUS, GER, and a long pause, CAN! The crowd cheered Andrew and Gab put their fists on the air and we all were very happy!

Tomorrow the 1000m finals. We'll be there early. We don't want to miss one race!
