RCC High Energy Interval Training Program

Want to break up the day?  Bring your workouts indoors and keep fit with us. Join the Rideau Canoe Club's High Energy Interval Training Program. This high-energy bootcamp-inspired program is geared towards all fitness levels; classes will focus on building strength and stamina, and improving overall health and wellness. Our facilities are among the top in the city and our instructor is a leader in the field. Club membership is NOT required to join this program.

The program will run for 7 weeks on Wednesdays, for a total of 6 sessions. The program will start Wednesday February 12th, 2014 and end Thursday March 26th, 2014 (there will be NO CLASS on March 12th, 2014 - March Break). Access to the Facility will be between 11:45am to 1:15pm, with the class running from 12 noon to 1:00pm.  Typical class structure includes a dynamic warm up, circuit work including a variety of equipment and free weights, and a cool down with stretches.  The circuit includes short bursts of high intensity anaerobic activity to challenge more advanced participants as well.  You will not get bored! About the Trainer/Coach:

Sheri is a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer who currently works with clients in her private home gym and as a trainer and volunteer at the Nepean YMCA-YWCA.  Her areas of expertise include functional movement training, strength and conditioning, running, and nutrition consulting for improved performance or weight loss. She also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Sheri's current training focus is Olympic Weightlifting.  

Registration is only considered complete once payment has been received. Please indicate on your cheque that payment is for the bootcamp. Program fees are payable to the Rideau Canoe Club and can be submitted at the first session.
